Lifeguard Instructor Update Course

April 2, 2018 @ 8:30 am - 5:30 pm

$188.00
Lifeguarding review classes are designed to help you update your skills while also extending your certification for another two years. The Red Cross also offers review courses, for those whose certification is still valid (or within 30 days of expiring) while allowing you to continue to work without a lapse in verification.

Refreshers: – Did you know that according to a review conducted by the American Red Cross Scientific Advisory Council that
  • Skill retention begins to decline only after a few months.
  • Less than half of course participants can pass a skills test one year after training

This is why, the American Red Cross also offers a variety of Refresher Courses, from learning rescue skills and First Aid to recognizing dangerous behaviors and responding to cardiac arrest. Our videos, games and quizzes are designed to help you remember the valuable skills and techniques you have learned when responding to an emergency.

This course will cover everything from Water Skills Practice, Water Activities, Lecture with Written and in-water skills testing

You must pre-register for this course and must first complete the LGI/LGIT online portion of the Update prior to attending.
