Time if ticking for Florida First Responders to take advantage of their free Florida State Parks Pass! There are less than 6 months left to redeem and enjoy this pass.
If you’re not aware the Florida State Park System decided to offer free Annual Park Passes to all Florida First Responders as a thank you for helping during and after Hurricane Irma. Our police, firefighters, linesmen, and others spent thousands of hours helping protect and repair Florida after Irma devastated the state.
To take advantage of this pass bring proof of employment and identification to any ranger station. Once you have your pass you’ll be able to enjoy the parks until October 2018! The state parks are so diverse and offer everything from beaches to canoeing to hiking and more!
For more information visit the Florida First Responder Pass page. Also, be sure to share our post with any Florida First Responder you know! We’d love to help make sure everyone has an opportunity to take advantage of this pass!
Also, while you’re exploring Florida’s parks why not grab one of our Passport Books and log all of your adventures!
Thank you to all of the responders and linesmen that helped get Florida back up and running after Irma! The countless hours spent in the sweltering heat protecting and serving the community are much apprectiated!
How do a law enforcement officer get the free state part pass?
The officer can take his ID to any State Park and speak to the ranger at the entrance. There is a paper to fill out and they will give you the park pass
